Where should we be looking for inspiration when improving service in our firms?

If you've been listening for a while, you know, I've spent a lot of time talking about my time with the Four Seasons Hotels, but of course it's not the only place you can get high-end experiences.

This week, we're bringing you a conversation between me and Ernie Svenson, otherwise known as Ernie the Attorney.

Ernie spent the first part of his career as a commercial litigator and a large New Orleans firm. He left in 2006 to start a low overhead paperless solo practice. In 2009, he created Law Firm Autopilot and made helping his lawyers build their own practices his full-time mission.

But even before he became "Ernie the Attorney," he was "Ernie the Waiter" at the high-end restaurant Commander's Palace in New Orleans.

Commander's Palace is one of my favorite restaurants and he and I talk about the things that happened there and the things that we can take into our own practices to use to structure things in order to make it easy for owners, employees, and guests to get the best service possible.

We shared this conversation between our two podcasts, Ernie's being Law Firm Autopilot, which you should definitely check out!
